I saw this episode of NCIS last night. Locklyn Munro guest starred so I looked up his bio and this episode was filmed in 2005.
It had some decent airtime, in the background from several angles in succession.

There was a damaged 2004 :ssr that some company picked up to use specifically as a movie "extra". This certainly could be it.
